Morston Tales & Ales presents a music and words festival in a charming walled garden setting.
Morston's first Music & Words Festival boasts an impressive line-up, to be staged in the charming walled gardens of Church Farm House, Morston.
Ben Brown, lead singer of indy (and Suffolk) legends Dingus Khan and pop sensations Superglu interrupts his first solo tour to headline the festival, with Cambridge band The Kobayashi Bookstore adding to the musical line-up.
Artist, sculptor and cartoonist Annie Tempest has kindly agreed to be interviewed at Morston Music + Words, reflecting on her work and the phenomenon that is her long-running cartoon strip Tottering By Gently. Emma Bridgewater, Britain's favourite potter, will reflect on her career in the industry as well as her long-held connections with Morston, and Whitbread prize winner and twice Booker nominee, David Taylor comes to the festival as his new collection of Norfolk short stories, Poppyland, is published.
With the tell-all tales of an intimacy coordinator providing much amusement when Rosy Fordham interviews Lucy Fennell, there is sure to be something for everyone in this stellar line-up.
Hot and cold food available alongside a bar serving cask beer, wines and soft drinks.
