Following the latest government announcement on the potential re-opening of hospitality businesses, we are now in a position to provide you with an update.
After detailed consideration we can confirm the following for all bookings with an arrival date on or before 30th July:
The Campsite will re-open from Saturday 4th July, but only for pre-booked Motorhomes with their own toilet and washing facilities onboard.
All our own toilet and shower facilities will be closed.
We will very sadly be unable to accept Tents or Campervans during July.
The Backpackers Hostel will remain closed.
The Groups Hostel will remain closed.
For bookings with an arrival date on or after 31st July, we will continue to hold any existing provisional bookings pending further developments in the situation. New provisional reservations can continue to be made via the booking enquiry form on our website. We will be in touch again during July.
We understand this will be disappointing for many of our customers, as it is for us, but we feel that a cautious approach is the right one for now. We have emailed July booking holders, with more information.
We have not taken these decisions lightly, taking into account the published scientific advice regarding the continuing prevalence and transmission of the virus. The health and safety of our customers and our staff are paramount. We have also taken account of the likely reduced capacity of other hospitality businesses, shops and facilities in the local area during this period.
