Ensuite & Shared Facilities
The Stables and The Granary at Deepdale offer a range of comfortable clean simple self-catering private rooms including double, twin, triple, quad, family and small group options. Some rooms have private ensuite shower & toilet facilities, others share facilities. All have access to a fully equipped kitchen, and are great value options for your stay on the beautiful North Norfolk Coast.
The private rooms in Deepdale Stables are what you would expect from a bed & breakfast (B&B), backpackers hostel or budget hotel.
When staying in a private room (ensuite) at Deepdale, you can still enjoy the sociable atmosphere of the backpackers hostel kitchen, living room and courtyard, while having your own space for sleeping and washing.
Our ensuite private rooms come in various forms:
Each of the ensuite private rooms includes a shower room with toilet, sink and shower. All bedding is provided; you just need to bring your own towels.
If budget is your key, then why not try the private rooms in The Granary. 20% less per night than the ensuite rooms.
Still lovely private rooms, with access to shower and toilet facilities downstairs. The Granary has its own kitchen and living room for self-catering.
Our shared facility private rooms come in various forms:
All bedding is provided; you just need to bring your own towels.
Our visitor information centre is open every day, providing helpful and knowledgeable advice on walking & cycling routes, places to see wildlife, the local Coastliner bus service, bike hire, and lots more.
The hostel rooms are grouped around a partially covered old stable courtyard, which is perfect for summer evening barbecues. The buildings date back to the 17th century and have been restored in the traditional Norfolk style.
Where possible we have used green technologies to reduce our environmental impact. 100% of our electricity is generated from renewable sources; the hostel is accessible via public transport using train services to and from King's Lynn and the Coasthopper bus service, and we are currently investing in electric car-charging points.
The North Norfolk Coast is an outdoor enthusiasts' paradise offering watersports and outdoor activities of every sort, beautiful beaches and historic buildings, so you can be as active as you want. The hostel is hugely popular with kite surfers, bird watchers, walkers, cyclists and all manner of other visitors to this beautiful part of the world. Of course you might just like to chill out and relax in our award winning self-catering accommodation or try one of our superb local pubs serving local beers and excellent seafood.
Deepdale is dog friendly, in fact the whole of the North Norfolk Coast is. You'll struggle to find a pub on the North Norfolk Coast that doesn't welcome dogs (even muddy ones!).
You can bring up to two dogs if you have booked a dog friendly room and enjoy the company of your four legged friends.
If you are bringing dogs to The Stables then we simply ask that ...
If you are booking more than one room, and would like to socialise with your dogs, then we would recommend booking the whole of The Granary, as then dogs are allowed in the living room. See more information about The Granary.
Deepdale Café is located next door serving fantastic breakfasts, lunches and snacks throughout the day, using local produce and suppliers wherever possible.
Dalegate Market has a range of shops including a supermarket for groceries and provisions, permanent shops open throughout the year, and pop up shops that change weekly.
The village has two great pubs, The Jolly Sailors and The White Horse, both within walking distance and serving locally produced ales and home cooked food.
Situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with one of Norfolk's Saxon round-tower churches, the village of Burnham Deepdale occupies a very special place on the North Norfolk Coast. The saltmarshes are spectacular; the walking on the Norfolk Coast Path is wonderful; the big open skies are breathtaking (with our night skies truly awe inspiring!); it's great cycling and watersports country and the bird and wildlife in the area is wonderfully diverse.
The backpackers hostel is open all year round, including Christmas and new Year, so whether in Winter or Summer, Spring or Autumn, your stay at Deepdale is a unique opportunity.
