Jason presents this month’s Deepdale Podcast. Chatting with Sam and Matt from Burn Valley Vineyard, David from Moon Gazer Ale about his epic fundraiser for Its On The Ball charity, and Nat from Good Journey about car free tourism. But first our Chris has some exciting news about Deepdale Camping & Rooms, as we’ve been awarded the AA Small Campsite of the Year Award for 2023.
Deepdale is the AA Small Campsite of the Year 2023
The Deepdale Crew are immensely proud to have been awarded AA Small Campsite of the Year 2023. It was a huge surprise, which we only discovered when Chris opened the post one morning. There was a padded envelope and in it this fantastic award, which we will be displaying with pride in Reception. The award is selected by the inspectors who check all AA listed campsites each year. So proud, thank you AA!

Burn Valley Vineyard
Jason chats with Sam and Matt, two of the team that run this local vineyard. Burn Valley is just a couple of miles down the road, on the other side of Burnham Market. We chat about vines, grapes, and most importantly wine tasting, while enjoying the surroundings of this lovely producer here in North Norfolk.
David’s Epic 7 Marathons in 7 Days
Jason chats with our friend David, of Moon Gazer Ale, about his epic fundraising challenge for Its On The Ball charity. He’s raised over £40,000 so far, by pushing a 75kg barrel of beer for 7 marathons in 7 days. You can still support him by donating to his JustGiving page.
If you’d like to know more about Moon Gazer Ale, have a listen to Jason’s chat with David & Rachel from January 2021.
Good Journey & Car Free Tourism
Nat Taplin, one of the founders of Good Journey, joins us on Deepdale Podcast to chat about car free tourism. Deepdale has been given the Good Journey Mark for 2023. Jason & Nat chat about sustainable tourism, the features of the Good Journey website, and the benefits of Slow Travel, giving you time to explore where you stop.
