Deepdale News

A couple of bits of news. The event programme in Burnham Deepdale is really warming up in the next few weeks. The pop up shops at Dalegate Market begin in March, and the Deepdale Camping & Rooms crew hold their annual Deepdale Hygge festival the weekend before Easter. And the team have also just launched this year’s Deepdale Festival, which takes place on the last weekend of September. Amazing artists already announced.

Deep History Coast

Jason chats with Dr David Waterhouse (of the Scott Polar Research Institute) about the deep history of the Norfolk Coast. Hear more about the Runton mammoth, Happisburgh handaxe, and Happisburgh footprints. As you stand on the beaches of North Norfolk, think about how you used to be able to walk to Japan. And did you know the Runton mammoth had a dodgy knee.

Roarr!

Ben and Adam from Roarr! join Jason on the podcast to chat about what their park has to offer. They talk dinosaurs, events and their very scary Primeval. The park is great for families, lots of individual attractions within a large place to explore. And many of their events are great for adults, including their Christmas event and being scared witless by the halloween event.
