Welcome to the June 2020 episode of the Deepdale Podcast. We hope you are staying safe and well in these continuing strange strange times.
Nathan and Jason kick off the podcast with a social distancing chat, getting slightly more excited than is safe for two middle aged bearded men, about cover crops, regenerative farming and life in Burnham Deepdale generally. They chat about the helpful people they’ve met this year, including Norfolk River IDB, Norfolk Rivers Trust and FWAG, who are all helping shape the future of the farm.
Simon, our resident avid fan of hammocks, reviews his Top 5 hammocks, and never did we think the term ‘whoopie slings’ would be uttered in polite company! Simon’s Top 5 Hammocks include Warbonnet, Hennessy, Eagles Nest Outfitters, Grand Trunk & DD Hammocks.
We finish with a repeat of the beautiful Dawn Chorus that Nathan recorded in the farm yard at Deepdale, because quite frankly even if you hear it a hundred times its still beautiful, and you’ll hear different birds every time.

Hope we’ll see you at Deepdale again soon, but in the meantime keep fit and entertained, and we’ll all be together again soon.
