Fakenham Christmas Tree Festival

Fakenham Parish Church is lit up by 90 Christmas Trees, each decorated for one of the 78 charities taking part. With Deepdale Christmas Market, this is an excellent reason to make a weekend of it at Deepdale!

Entrance is free but please bring a bag of coins so that you can donate money at your favourite charity tree(s). Charities range from national charities such as the British Heart Foundation to local schools and nurseries.

Throughout the Festival refreshments are available, including reasonably priced lunches and teas using local produce and home made cakes and scones. Coach parties should book in advance and we ask for �25 deposit.

There is also a walk-through Festival Market selling many items for Christmas including Christmas cakes and cards.

There is ample parking in Fakenham and you may like to use the Tesco Store nearby which allows 3 hours of free parking. Just follow the AA signs as you come into the town.

Last year they raised �26,000 in loose change for charities and they hope to beat this record in their 11th year. During the last 10 years over �250,000 has been donated to charities taking part.
