Andrew Bird's abstract paintings are inspired by the landscape and coastal areas of the UK. Whether it is an upland moor, old workings being slowly reclaimed by the landscape, field systems, the weather, light a rugged coastline or a busy harbour.
Trevor Price is a cornish artist/printmaker. His artworks usually represent the intimacy between a couple, sometimes romantic, sometimes erotic and often humorous. Artistic influences include Pablo Picasso, Freda Kahlo, Ben Nicholson and Cecil Collins. Location can also be a big influence in the work, and his Cornish roots often feature.
Alex Malcolmson is an artist who makes box constructions, primarily of wood; carved and painted and sometimes incorporating found materials. Sailing trips, the Northern Isles and marine folk art provide much inspiration for his work.
Ruth Shelly specialises in contemporary glass design. Much of her work is inspired by her love of travelling; observation of the beautiful horizons and dramatic shapes and forms of landscape and coastline. Through layered glass, Ruth creates a dialogue of lines, patterns and colour
