Get warm and cosy in the Lady Elizabeth Wing for this wonderful new play for children based on the beloved novel by George MacDonald.
The evil goblins under the mountain plan to kidnap princess Irene and force her to become their queen. Can her magical great-great grandmother, and Curdie the brave miner boy save Irene before it is too late?
This enchanting tale of faith and courage in the face of adversity is suitable for everybody from the age of 4 upwards.
Doors for the performance will be open at 1.45pm and the performance will commence at 2.30pm. There will be an interval of 25 minutes. Please ensure that you bring your ticket(s) with you to show on arrival and bring low-backed seating or rugs. Please note that food is not permitted to be eaten inside the performance area. The Courtyard Café will be open for refreshments during the interval. Please let us know prior to the event if you have any particular access requirements.
