It's safe to say that we can all appreciate a big open landscape, especially in what has been a very strange year!
This exhibition will bring together, for the first time, solely landscape paintings by Trevor Woods from this country and further afield. As anyone who follows Trevor's work will know, it evolves and adapts to what he's seeing and feeling at any given time. The work is always familiar but certain subjects call for something 'more'... and this is obvious in these latest paintings. After experiencing the breath-taking scenery of Iceland last year, Trevor's looked back at places he's visited over the years and produced a body of work that captures these varied and often dramatic landscapes. We don't want to give too much away, but as well as local North Norfolk scenes, the Peak District and Lake District will be featured alongside others from further afield too. Things will be a little different with this exhibition, due to the Coronavirus restrictions, so we're putting a two-fold plan in place. 1. A PDF catalogue will be released on the evening of Friday 23rd October and the paintings will be for sale by telephoning the gallery from 10am on Saturday 24th October and for the duration of the exhibition. 2. The gallery will be open for viewing and sales Tuesday-Saturday 10am-4pm, plus Sunday 25th October 11am-4pm. Naturally we will be following strict Covid-Secure guidelines, masks are mandatory and we are allowing a maximum of FOUR people in the gallery at a time, which in turn will provide a unique private viewing.
