Join us for this deliciously restorative practice where we'll explore the art of surrender or known as 'ishvara pranidhana' which is one the niyamas in yoga's ethical code. Ishvara pranidhana is the spiritual act of surrendering the self fully to the Divine, and trusting the wisdom of the Divine to guide the life and actions of the self in order to work in the world. This is a quiet, slow and meditative practice, with a focus on the hips, pelvis and lower spine, all supported by the earth using props and variations to allow the body to open up and the mind to still. By holding postures for an extended period, the connective tissue is stimulated and joints are nourished. Sound vibration through crystal singing bowls has profound effects on the nervous system and induces complete physical and mental relaxation with inner awareness. This practice is held in the belly of the Wild Yoga Garden, situated on the edge of Brancaster Staithe in a 7m bell tent.
