Join us for a one day workshop of poetry-writing and printmaking, based in the elegant and spacious Garden Room at Pensthorpe Natural Park, with David Redfield and Diane Griffiths. This joint workshop will focus on producing unique works fusing word and image, using materials and inspiration gathered from Pensthorpe's beautiful and stimulating natural environment. David and Diane will guide you through the process of bringing your poetic and visual impulses to life, helping you to generate pieces that achieve a creative interdependence between the two media. You will have the opportunity to field-walk the park and collect observations, ideas, textures, and other stimuli for your work. Our aim is that students each produce a small number of pieces successfully capturing their experiences. Up to a maximum of 20 persons (16 yrs or above) All printmaking materials are included in the booking cost. Tea & coffee provided. Lunch not included.
