Open to everybody, Heritage Open Days is a unique opportunity to explore the unknown & discover the unexpected in the familiar. With events taking place across Norfolk, there's plenty to participate in: guided tours behind-the-scenes to exhibitions.
Heritage Open Days is England's largest festival of history and culture, involving thousands of local volunteers and organisations. Every year in September it brings people together to celebrate their heritage, community and history. Stories are told, traditions explored, and histories brought to life. It's your chance to see hidden places and try out new experiences – and it's all FREE.
Tickets for pre-booked events have been released, and many events now have limited availability. There's still plenty of amazing free drop in events taking place across Norfolk Heritage Open Days!
