This July West Acre Gallery will fling its doors open once again, this time for its first ever summer exhibition.
The second in a series of three extended exhibitions for 2023, West Acre Gallery hopes to capture the feeling of summer in its latest showcase ‘Suspended in Time: Summer Sensations'.
Twenty Norfolk artists will unite for eight weeks to present a variety of paintings, prints, drawings, mixed media and ceramics. Many of the gallery's resident artists are taking part, including Jo Colman, Paul Smith, Peta Wainwright, David Lendrum, Helga Joergens, Nevine Hunt and Nikki Roberson, as well as some fresh faces: Christopher Low, Kirsty Devlin, Victoria McDonnell, Jax Vollenhoven and Bryony Knight.
Bright candy colours rule supreme, so get set for a dazzling display of summer hues with sunflower yellows, watermelon pinks, lustrous lime greens and lavenders. It's a spectacular full spectrum show starring Norfolk's stunning coastline with obligatory seas and trees and a newly extended pop up gift shop with locally made crafts and art inspired gifts, cards and prints.
This exhibition follows Suspended in Time: Spring Introspections (which ran for 7 weeks in March-April) and precedes Suspended in Time: Autumn Reflections (which will run for 8 weeks in September-October).
