A Tour of the Night Sky with Mark Thompson

Join us as we take you on a tour of the night sky with British astronomer, television presenter and writer Mark Thompson!

Using a powerful laser pointer, our expert guide and well-known astronomer Mark Thompson will explain the workings of the sky, the nature of stars, and point out constellations and other celestial objects of interest. This outdoor session will last approximately one hour. Please dress warmly and consider bringing a deck chair for comfort.

Indoor Session - Following the outdoor tour, there will be a shorter indoor session which will showcase images of objects discussed during the tour.

Weather Contingency - In case of poor weather, the event will transform into a ‘Guided Tour of the Universe.' This 90-minute indoor session will explore the universe and how astronomers uncover its mysteries.
