Ed Birchinall studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and is currently at the Royal College of Music on the Opera Course.
Ed took part in the masterclass series, French Song and Mélodie with Véronique Gens at Snape Maltings in the summer 2024. Ed comes from Hertfordshire and was Head Chorister at King's, Ely. He took part in this year's Kathleen Ferrier Awards and first sang at NNMF in August 2023. Collaborative pianist JongSun Woo studied in London and New York and is a Samling Artist.
Their programme includes songs by BRAHMS, CLARA and ROBERT SCHUMANN, WOLF, MAHLER and POULENC.
