Expect a mixture of films ranging from world cinema to the revival of popular favourites. There will also be a focus on films either made or selected by young people.
The vast majority of our films will be screened at the King's Lynn Corn Exchange Cinema - a big thank you to the management and staff at the Corn Exchange for all of their support in helping to create this Festival.
Our programme is now live and features a variety of films covering different genres and styles of film-making.

THURSDAY 28TH NOVEMBER

The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou (2004) 15 119 minutes
This dark comedy features a stellar ensemble cast including Bill Murray, Cate Blanchett, Michael Gambon, Owen Wilson. Oceanographer Steve Zissou brings together a motley crew for an expedition to hunt down the legendary shark that killed his partner. Expect typical weirdness from director Wes Anderson, along with an eclectic soundtrack.

Conclave (2024) 12A 120 minutes
Starring Ralph Fiennes and Stanley Tucci, this is a top-class thriller telling the story of conspiracies within the Catholic Church amid the search for a new Pope. Adapted from the Robert Harris novel, it is hotly tipped for Oscar nominations.

In this cult, high-octane action thriller, Keanu Reeves plays an uncover FBI agent who infiltrates a band of surfers, led by Patrick Swayze, who may be responsible for a string of bank robberies. Amazing stunts, great cinematography - and is this the ultimate buddy movie? Directed by Kathryn Bigelow.
FRIDAY 29TH NOVEMBER

The Hitchcock classic is 70 years old! James Stewart plays a photographer confined to his apartment by a broken leg. Watching his neighbours from his window, he begins to suspect that one of them is a murderer. Also stars Grace Kelly.

Widow Clicquot (2023) 15 90 minutes
A sumptuous British-made period drama exploring the story behind the origins of the Verve Clicquot champagne family business. It stars Hayley Bennett as Barbe-Nicole Ponsardin Clicquot and follows her rise from young widow to patriarchy-defying innovator! Also stars Sam Riley and Tom Sturridge.

La Cocina (2024) 15 139 minutes
A drama set in a bustling kitchen in Times Square, where the aspirations of the staff members collide. The film stars Rooney Mara and is both hopeful and heart-breaking by turn. If you enjoyed ‘The Bear' or ‘Boiling Point' then you should see this.

Maria (2024) 15 124 minutes
A special advance screening of this biopic of legendary opera singer Maria Callas with Angelina Jolie in the title role. Set in 70s Paris towards the end of her life, we take a trip backwards to explore the triumphs and tragedies of the diva. Directed by Pablo Lorrain, this follows his films ‘Jackie' and ‘Spencer', and could well be an Oscar contender.
SATURDAY 30TH NOVEMBER

This is Going to be Big (2023) 100 minutes
In this Australian-made documentary drama, a group of neuro-diverse teenagers attempt to stage a high school musical. This is a truly heart-warming film that deserves the widest possible audience - you'll feel every emotion as we follow the youngsters through their trials and tribulations along the way.

The new film from Mike Leigh is a tragi-comic affair, exploring the lives of two London sisters whose very different ways of dealing with the challenges they face have hugely impacted on their families. Both laugh-out loud and darkly sombre, it features an outstanding lead role from Marianne Jean-Baptiste.

Christmas Eve in Miller's Point (2024) 12A 106 minutes
On Christmas Eve, a family gathers for their traditional holiday in their ancestral home. This is a comedy drama that is visually stunning, rich in detail; one which explores multiple Christmas tropes, and makes us reflect on the importance of tradition and memory in our lives. As the night wears on and generational tensions arise, will this be the last time they all meet in this house?
