Live music 7.30pm - Gates open 7pm
Wonderful to welcome back this wonderful band with their songwriting and melodies, together with the most accomplished playing, supported by Norwich’s finest folk duo. An unmissable evening of music.
“A full musical odyssey” - BBC Radio 1
India Electric Company, described as a veritable musical magpie’s nest by BBC Radio 3 and a full musical odyssey, by BBC Radio 1, blend traditional instruments, folk melodies and subtle electronic influences. They’ve extensively performed throughout Europe, Australia and New Zealand, and most recently at the Royal Albert Hall.
After a recent 60+ date European support tour with Midge Ure and live sessions with BBC Radio 2 and 6 Music they return in 2024 with their much awaited third studio album. They’ve evolved through ten years of touring with notable appearances including Gothenburg Opera House, the Metro Theatre in Sydney and London’s Royal Albert Hall. The Daily Telegraph declared them as bursting with invention and full of surprises and KLOF Mag praised them as one of the truly pioneering acts. They will be bringing their unique headline shows to audiences throughout the year with an ambitious headline tour in September to celebrate the release of their new album, Pomegranate.
**** “Bursting with invention and full of surprises.” - The Telegraph
**** “Classy pop” - The Scotsman
Christina Alden & Alex Patterson are multi-instrumentalists and songwriters from East Anglia. Their music is rich with intertwining harmony, sensitive accomplished musicianship and a creative song-writing style that is both delicate and moving. Deeply inspired by the world around them, they have a keen environmental eye to craft stories with the natural world at its heart, reflecting on the relationship between humans and the wild.
