Tuesday 1st April 2025
7.45am - 2pm
A full day of birding on two of Norfolk's premier nature reserves.
Begin your day at Snettisham reserve, where you'll be captivated by the breath taking sight of thousands of birds soaring together at high tide. Get ready to be enchanted as you observe flocks of Knot swirling and dancing across The Wash before settling down to roost on the inland lagoons. There'll be time for a tour of the reserve to spot more wildlife before heading off for a scrummy brunch.
Titchwell Marsh is an ideal location for birdwatching due to it's vast and varied habitats. It acts as a service station for many migrant species so there's plenty of variety to see. Look out too for resident birds such as Marsh Harriers and Avocets and listen out for the soft ping of Bearded Tits or the rich soulful boom of a Bittern. All signifying that Spring is on the way.
Price: From £80
Location: RSPB Titchwell Marsh, RSPB Titchwell Marsh Nature Reserve, Main Road, Titchwell, Norfolk, PE31 8BB
