Friday 28th to Sunday 30th September 2018
Saturday - Orchard Stage
Fresh from taking the main stage at the prestigious Cambridge Folk Festival by storm, we are incredibly delighted to have The Shackleton Trio headline our Orchard Stage on the Saturday evening.
True and natural talents of the folk tradition, their brilliant self-penned material blends seamlessly with their imaginative yet authentic re-workings of traditional folk standards.
The uniquely beautiful songwriting skills of Georgia Shackleton, combined with the vibrant, virtuoso instrumental brilliance of Aaren Bennett, Nic Zuppardi and Georgia’s pure and original folk voice have developed and matured through two wonderful, critically acclaimed albums (The Dog Who Would Not Be Washed and new release Fen, Farm and Deadly Water) into a musical force just as likely to move you to tears as to move you to your feet.
The band is now gaining significant UK and International exposure, both live and on the radio, so do come and see this extraordinary Norfolk-based trio before they truly explode. We Love the Shacks!!
This was the programme for Deepdale Festival 2018, our 2nd annual festival. We had a fabulous weekend, with an amazing range of musical talent including national and local bands.
