Sunday - Backpackers Stage
Growing up on the mean-ish streets of Oxford, Chad spent 17 years developing his eccentric, bittersweet view of the world before fumbling his first acoustic guitar chords on arrival in his adopted home of Norwich. His debut album 'The Meandering Mind of Chad Mason' mixes the atmospheres of a Morricone soundtrack with the innocence of early Fairport, while live he strips it back, building a witty rapport with merely guitar, harmonica and his plaintive baritone.
This was the programme for Deepdale Festival 2019, our 3rd annual festival. We had a fabulous weekend, with an amazing range of musical talent including national and local bands.
