Saturday - The Orchard
Chris first saw Katherine at Moseley Folk Festival three years ago, knowing then the style and quality of her music would be perfect on the Deepdale stage. We are beyond delighted to have the opportunity this year! Her star is rising in the folk music world, with the launch of her acclaimed number 1 album ‘The Eternal Rocks Beneath’.
All the songs are self-penned and have a wonderful depth and maturity. The whole album is a joy, with so many stand-out tracks showcasing her haunting vocals and distinctive guitar style. About to head out on tour around the UK with Richard Thompson, we are incredibly lucky to host her at Deepdale.
This was the programme for Deepdale Festival 2021, our 4th annual festival. We had a fabulous weekend, with an amazing range of musical talent including national and local bands.
