Thursday 21st to Sunday 24th September 2023
Sunday - Courtyard Stage
Mostly play traditional music in a modern, upbeat style using fiddle, guitar, melodeon, accordion and mandolin, as well as singing the odd song. Their first album consists of a mixture of traditional tunes, their own compositions and some of their favourite songs. All recorded under the expert eyes and ears of Jamie Evans at Superfly studios in Ollerton. Mr Evans described one of the tracks on the album as sounding 'like Withnail and I at Alton Towers, refusing to get off the log flume.' and 'Like a bunch of lairy vikings trying to start a steam engine.' - That's something you want to hear right?
