Many of you have been wondering about our plans for 2025, and after much thought and reflection, we have decided we aren't going to be running either the Hygge or the Festival in 2025. This has been an extremely difficult decision, but for a number of reasons we have decided to take a break from festival organising for the year.
We know that many of you will be disappointed, but we are sure you can appreciate how much work goes into putting on our festivals, and after 4 successful post lockdown years, 2025 feels like a good year to take a breather. We hope to be back in 2026, but we won't be taking that decision until Autumn next year.
However, our commitment to great live music is still here! We are going to be hosting some wonderful artists in 2025, including several firm favourites from previous Festivals, so there will still be plenty of opportunities for us to gather in the Brick Barn, dance, laugh and catch up with old friends and new. Our own renowned bar will be open serving local ale, cider together with a selection of wines and spirits, and Wood Fired Pizza will be available each evening.
Friday 22nd to Sunday 24th March 2024
The Deepdale Hygge is our celebration of the beautiful North Norfolk Coast, a collection of the things that bring us happiness - live music, the great outdoors, meeting old friends and new, enjoying the best of the North Norfolk Coast.
As March is Deepdale Camping & Rooms's birthday and Spring begins, we'd like to invite you to join us for our celebration, and in the process of celebrating we hope to help you find the combination that gives you your own North Norfolk Coast Hygge.
Some languages have words which can't be translated simply, and the Danish word Hygge is one such word. Pronounced hue-gah, hygge is about enjoying life's simple pleasures - Friends, family, graciousness, contentment, good feelings ...
Staying at Deepdale any time in the year is about creating your own Hygge on the beautiful North Norfolk Coast. Whether that is a walk on a beach, a pub lunch by a roaring fire, kite surfing in storm force winds, watching local wildlife, cycling the local lanes, lying under our dark skies star gazing, paddling your feet in the sea, watching a sunset ...
In English rather than Danish, a stay at Deepdale is about finding your inner happiness, your passions, your self awareness with activities, relaxation, peace, socialising, or any combination that brings you happiness.
Come and join us for the Deepdale Hygge, a weekend all about life's simple pleasures, reconnecting with the environment, with each other, meeting new friends and trying new things.
