Churchyards are a fantastic place for wildlife.
The often undisturbed grassland is great for wildflowers, the veteran trees for bats and birds and the stonework for rare plants and lichens. Find out more about the importance of these special places for wildlife and about the new Caring for God's Acre Beautiful Burial Ground project, funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund. This will see Norfolk Wildlife Trust volunteers survey churchyards, as well as engaging school children.
Price: £8 NWT members, £10 non-members (price includes lunch)
Location: NWT Cley Marshes, Coast Road, Cley next the Sea, Norfolk, NR25 7SA
