West Norfolk Artists Association Opening Exhibition

West Norfolk Artists Association co hosting the ‘Opening' exhibition with Chequer House Gallery, a beautiful, brand new art space to celebrate both the inaugural opening of the gallery, and establishment of a permanent base for the Association.

The exhibition will feature a beautiful and breathtaking array of artwork by over 80 Norfolk artists presenting paintings, drawings, photography, textile art, ceramics and sculptures, along with mounted works, prints and cards.

This will be the first of a rolling programme of exhibitions in the gallery showcasing our members works, and contributing to the city's cultural heritage, right here in the historic heart of Kings Lynn.

The West Norfolk Artists Association was set up in October 2000 to promote visual art from this area of Norfolk. Now well into its second decade, the WNAA membership numbers over 150 and is open to artists of all abilities, from professionals to students. Artists do not have to live in West Norfolk to belong to the WNAA, but the focus of the Association is very much in West Norfolk. We embrace all forms of the visual arts, and our members include painters, printers, photographers, sculptors, potters, installation artists, and those working with textiles and jewellery. The WNAA is run on a voluntary basis by a committee drawn from the membership.
